A fountain for a "Lobby Gallery." The title page shows the site where I collected all the materials (except recycled shopping bags, tubes, and pump): a triangle of public land along the Arroyo Seco.
My colleague Haena Yoo and I joined forces to transform the Main Gallery at Art Center into
Less World. I contributed the waterwheel. She works in video installation and assemblage. We sewed together plastic bags to cover the space with a tent.
Gallery visitors entered the gallery and turned on a switch which powered an electric ball valve. A solar powered pump brought condensation from the air conditioner on the roof into the gallery through the skylight.
